Noise Studies, Noise Modelling
At the end of 2018, Kajaja Acoustics OÜ kajaja.ee, a company providing consultations on noise and acoustics, was born in cooperation with the managers of Skepast & Puhkim OÜ and long-term acoustics consultant Marko Ründva.
The core objective of Kajaja Acoustics is to provide a quality customer-oriented acoustic consulting, design and measurement service. Our vision is to become the leading Estonian company and the preferred partner in this field.
The objects of noise study are:
- traffic noise (road and rail transport);
- industrial noise (ports, terminals, etc.);
- military noise;
- mining noise;
- noise from wind turbines.
Services
MEASUREMENTS
- Measurements of sound insulation (airborne noise, impact noise), and environmental and technical equipment noise according to generally accepted measurement standards.
- We use equipment and software from leading acoustic measurement systems manufacturers to perform measurements and analyze the results.
- We have started the implementation of ISO 17025: 2017 – a quality standard for testing and calibration laboratories.
EXPERT ASSESSMENTS
- Our expert opinions and assessments for project solutions, construction works or measurement results are based on our long-term experience in acoustics.
- Professional assessment of the compliance of project documentation and solutions with requirements in force, root causes of problems, and advice on how to implement the required mitigation measures to meet the necessary requirements.
CONSULTATION
- Consultancy and advice on construction acoustics, room acoustics, environmental and technical equipment noise and vibration control, including product development.
- Environmental noise assessments / studies (noise mapping), soundproofing and room acoustics problem solving, analysis of mitigation measures, acoustic monitoring of construction work.
DESIGN
- Acoustic design is covered in standard EVS 932: 2017 “Construction design documents”. The role of Kajaja Acoustics is to be a trusted partner for designers, architects, developers and construction companies when preparing the relevant part of the project.
- Cost-effective solutions in accordance with environmental noise levels for infrastructure projects and industrial companies.
